Arrow maze — also sold as tap-away, arrow escape or pin-out — is a board of arrows that each slide only in the direction they point, so clearing it means finding the one order that never traps a piece. The genre is barely a year old: the oldest game here launched in August 2025, and it has grown fast enough to attract a long tail of near-identical releases with almost no reviews. So this list is a filter. Everything below is published by an established studio, has a substantial rating base, and has shipped an update recently. From Lessmore GmbH, and the best-rated arrow puzzle we could verify: 4.86 from 353,807 App Store ratings. Released August 2025 and updated 14 July 2026, which makes it one of the better-maintained games in a genre where that is not a given.
The largest rating base in the genre — 418,009 App Store ratings at 4.66 — from Beijing Youyoutang Technology. Adds a colour constraint, so pieces must exit to a matching target rather than any free edge. Updated 31 July 2026, the most recent here.
Lion Studios Plus’s colour-escape take, 4.65 from 213,865 ratings. It sits in the same family as Color Maze and the two are close enough that the sensible move is to try whichever you come across first rather than agonise between them.

SayGames’ entry, 4.67 from 88,373 ratings — and the clearest example of this genre’s naming problem. It is still reachable at an App Store URL ending arrow-maze-escape-puzzle: it shipped under an arrow-maze name and was renamed. Ordinary store optimisation, but it means the title you remember may not be the title you find.
Mechanically the standard tap-to-slide puzzle; what it changes is legibility, using a dark board with high-contrast neon pieces instead of the pastel styling the rest of the genre defaults to. 4.61 from 41,046 ratings, updated 27 July 2026.
