PayPal Honey looks for coupon codes at checkout and runs its own rewards programme. At 12,000,000 Chrome Web Store users it is by a wide margin the biggest extension of its kind, and it is the only one here whose listing declares that it handles financial and payment information. Following allegations published in December 2024, Rakuten Advertising removed Honey from its affiliate network and Awin suspended its payments in January 2026; PayPal said the code involved had been identified, no longer had an impact, predated its acquisition of Honey and appeared to affect less than 0.1% of the extension traffic.
